Day 2: Delhi - Local Sightseeing

Visit Red Fort, Built In 1648 By Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, One Of The Largest Mosque Of India, Raj Ghat And Shanti Vana, The Cremation Sites Of Mahatama Gandhi And Jawaharlal Nehru. Also Drive Past Chandni Chowk, Shopping Centre Of Old Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

Hawa Mahal - The Ornamental Facade Of This "Palace Of Winds" Is A Prominent Landmark In Jaipur. Their Five-Storey Structures Of Sandstone Plastered Pink Encrusted With Fine Trellis work And Elaborate Balconies. The Palace Has 953 Niches And Windows. Built In 1799 By Pratap Singh, The Mahal Was A Royal Grandstand For The Palace Women.
Jantar Mantar - This Is The Largest And The Best Preserved Of The Five Observatories Built By Jai Singh Ii In Different Parts Of The Country. This Observatory Consisting Of Outsized Astronomical Instruments Is Still In Use. , Now Little More Than A Fa├žade, Is Encrusted With Delicate Screen Sand Carved Balconies From Which The Royal Ladies, Confined To Their Quarters, Could Sneak Views Of The Outside World. Past, Present And Future Merge At Jai Singh's Observatory, Where Time Has Been Accurately Measured Since The 17Th Century.
